Command of 1st military region to prevent armed manifestations in Hadhramout  

HADRAMOUT, March 13 (YPA) – The command of the so-called first military region in Yemen’s eastern province of Hadhramout on Tuesday issued a decision to prevent the armed manifestations in all districts of the province.

The move came as a reaction for the demands of the so-called southern transitional council backed by the United Arab Emirates in the province to hand over the command of the military region to the so-called “Hadrami elite forces”.

Some districts of Hadhramout valley have witnessed several assassination operations, the most recent of which was the assassination of the Sufi scholar Aidros bin Sumait by gunmen in the city of Tarim, earlier this month.
