Hadi’s delegation rejects proposal to inspect aircraft in Cairo or Amman

SANAA, Dec, 10 (YPA) – Another day of Yemeni consultations in Stockholm went against what has been planned, Hadi’s delegation coming from Riyadh has called for postponing the submission of the names of prisoners and detainees to Monday instead of Sunday on the pretext of not being ready yet.

Mohammed Abdulsalam, head of the national delegation of Yemen’s national salvation government, said that “the United Nations calls on the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a and other national forces to have a discussion on the following points: a general framework for negotiations, a truce, a swap of prisoners and detainees, the opening of Sana’a International Airport, the building of confidence and others. We didn’t get out of this agenda.”

Abdulsalam added that our representatives in the Prisoners and Detainees Committee confirmed that he has a team on all the military fronts that is ready to start the necessary work at a moment’s notice.

He also said that our representatives are ready to submit lists of names under the supervision of the international Red Cross, but unfortunately, the Saudi-led side said that “they are not ready yet, to find the names.”

Regarding Sanaa International Airport, the Saudi-led Hadi regime delegation rejected the proposal of the national delegation to inspect planes in Cairo or Amman, instead of in Saudi-owned airports.

In the meantime, the technical committees have continued their meetings with United Nations experts on the truce and economy files, so far with no mention of outcomes.
