UN commends positive spirit in Yemeni consultations in Sweden

SANAA, Dec. 9 (YPA) – UN special envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, on Sunday praised the positive spirit shown by both negotiating delegations in Yemeni consultations that began Thursday in Sweden’s capital, Stockholm.

The two parties are working in a serious and constructive manner to discuss details of confidence-building measures, reducing violence and setting the framework of negotiations,” said Griffiths in a press release.

He hoped that progress would be made during this round of consultations.
