Rashida Tlaib accuses Trump of racism, vows to hold him accountable

SANAA, Dec. 8 (YPA) – US Congresswoman Rashida Talib has accused U.S. president Donald Trump of being a “racist” and vowed to hold him accountable.

“I really think that Trump is a racist, and that’s probably controversial, he is, Talib said during an interview with the Hill newspaper on Thursday.

“Racism is in his policies, it’s in his words, and the fact of the matter is that he’s still our president, but it doesn’t matter, I’m going to hold him accountable,” she added.

The CNN Network noted that that the entry of Tlaib, from the state of “Michigan,” to Congress was against to Trump’s approach to the management of “Islamophobia and anti-immigrant.

Tlaib, politically, belonging to the Bernie Sanders wing of the Democratic Party, calling for reforms such as universal health care, environmental protection, and the establishment of acceptable fees for university education.
