US allows southern transition council to practice political activity from its territory
SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – The United States of American gave the so-called separatist southern transitional council an official authorization to practice its political activity from Washington, a southern activist said on Sunday.
Journalist Lutfi Shatara, who is also a member of the council, said on his Facebook page that the US government re-used the name of South Yemen in its official administrative departments without activating it officially.
“Things are going quietly and the issue is only a matter of time,” he added.
The southern council is backed military and financially by United Arab of Emirates (UAE) occupation forces, which encourages the council towards secession and return Yemen back to pre-May 22, 1990.
