Yemen anti-drug authorities seize 2 tons of hashish in Jawf

JAWF, March.10 (YPA) – Yemen’s anti-drug authorities Seized a large amount of hashish in several operations, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The director of anti-narcotics, Col. Saleh Mohammed al-Anisi, confirmed that the security services had seized “2000 Kg” of hashish in five different operations over the past two months of this year; saying that the drugs were on their way to Saudi territory.

Al-Anisi added that the seized quantities will be destroyed, and the legal proceedings will be taken against those involved in this crime.
