Army repels large-scale attack of militias in Najran

NAJRAN, Dec. 1 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Sunday repelled a large-scale attack of coalition-backed militias in Najran border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Saturday.

The militias were inflicted heavy losses during repelling their attack in Shaqaa square front, said the official.

The militias’ attack was backed by air cover of Apache helicopters, spy drones and warplanes, which launched several strikes and lasted for hours without achieving any progress.
