3 Iraqi fighters killed, injured in terrorist attack in southern Iraq

SANAA, Dec. 1 (YPA) – At least one fighter of Popular Crowd Forces in Iraq ( Al-Hashd al-shaabi) was killed and two others were injured in terrorist armed attack targets their sites Yathrib district, Iraqi Security officials reported on Saturday.

Terrorist elements carried out attack on “one of the popular crowd units in the Yathrib area in the southern part of Iraq, killing one and injuring two others, one of the officials said.

“The condition of wounded are critical, and they were taken to Baghdad for treatment,” he added.

The security forces and the popular crowd have been subjected to terrorist attacks on their patrols and posts, which result in deaths and injuries in their ranks.
