Army repels large-scale attack in Jizan

JIZAN, Nov. 30 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Friday repelled a large-scale attack of coalition-backed militias in Jizan border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Saturday.

The militias were inflicted heavy losses during repelling their attack in the east of Jahfan mount,, said the official.

The militias’ attack was backed by air cover of Apache helicopters, spy drones and warplanes, which launched several strikes and lasted for hours without achieving any progress.
