Health Ministry extends polio immunization campaign until Thursday

SANAA, Nov. 28 (YPA) – Ministry of Public Health and Population on Wednesday announced the extension of the national immunization campaign against polio until Thursday.

According to a statement issued by the ministry, the extension of the immunization campaign comes to ensure the arrival of immunization teams to all targeted children.

The campaign, which began on Monday and is being carried out by the Health Ministry represented by the National Program on Expanded Immunization in collaboration with the World Health Organization, UNICEF and the Vaccine Alliance, targets more than 5.5 million children under the age of five year.
