Commander loyal to coalition in Abyan resigned
ABYAN, Nov. 25 (YPA) – A top commander on Sunday offered his resignation to United Arab Emirates occupation forces’ leader in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, military sources said.
Abdul Latif Al Sayyed ,commander so-called security belt backed by UAE demanded the occupation forces officials to hand over the killer who carried out an assassination attempt against his deputy Fahad Gharamah in the province, the UAE forces’ leader rejected, however.
Last week, deputy commander of the UAE occupation militias, “security belt” in Abyan, was shot dead by unknown gunmen in the Aden city.
