Report: Army inflicts heavy casualties on coalition militiamen over hours
SANAA, Nov. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni army waged military operations against positions of Saudi-led coalition’s militiamen in different fronts over the past hours, leaving heavy casualties, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.
In Hajjah province, over 27 militiamen were killed and 64 others wounded when the army fired a ballistic missile, Badr 1-p, on their groups in Medi desert.
The army also hit gatherings of the militiamen in Hairan area of Hajjah, killing and wounding several.
In Taiz province, the army waged an attack and retook over on sites of the militiamen in al-Mafalis area of Haifan district, causing heavy losses.
In Jawf province, a number of the militiamen were killed and injured when the army foiled their attempt to infiltrate towards al-Maton district.
In Marib province, the army attacked sites of the militiamen in al-Makhdarh area of Serwah district, killing two leaders.
In border province of Najran, the army waged two assaults on Saudi sites in al-Shabakah and al-Shurafa, killing and wounding tens.
In Asir province, the army repelled two attacks of the militiamen in front of site of Alib crossing, killing and hurting many.
The army also fired four rockets, Zilzal 1, towards groups of the militiamen in Alib crossing of Asir, the official added.
