Parliament condemns terrorist bombing in Afghanistan

SANAA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament on Wednesday condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist bombing that targeted religious scholars during a celebration of the Prophet’s birth on Tuesday in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul, killing 50 people and injuring over 70 others.

The parliament called for fighting this phenomenon that is alien to the Islamic community, expressing its condolences to the families of the victims in this terrorist attack.

On the same context, the parliament’s speaker, Yahya al-Ra’i, sent a cable of condolences to Speaker and members of Afghan Parliament, and the government and the people of Afghanistan, reiterating the condemnation of terrorist acts in all forms.
