Millions of Yemenis to take part in celebrations of Prophet Mohammad’s birthday

SANAA, Nov. 20 (YPA) – Millions of Yemenis on Tuesday to commemorate the Prophet’s birth anniversary in Sanaa, Hodeidah, Saada, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz and Jawf Provinces

Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi on Monday called on all the Yemeni people to participate in the celebration of Prophet’s birthday, stressing that event of this year will be greater than any other years because of the awareness, determination and faith of the Yemeni people.

The organizing committees, for the first time, set eight major squares to welcome millions of Yemenis commemorating the birth of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him)  in the  provinces of Hodeidah, Saada, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz and Jawf, as well as the central event  will be held in the capital Sanaa.

“The event will kick off on Tuesday’s afternoon with a unified event celebrating the Prophet’s birth anniversary in the central square of Sabeen Square of the capital Sana’a,  as well as central squares in other provinces.

Mass crowds have been gathering since Monday from various districts of Sana’a province and other provinces to Sabaeen Square, despite the difficult economic conditions.

Despite the nearly four years of siege and aggression, Yemenis celebrate the birth of the Prophet (PBUH) in an unprecedented way.”

The Organizing Committee on Monday confirmed the completion of preparations and arrangements in all the squares set to receive crowds participating in the commemoration of the event on Tuesday.

It also called on all the Yemeni people to participate actively to commemorate the Prophet’s birthday in a manner befitting the prestige and greatness of the occasion.
