Army repels coalition’s attack in Jizan

JIZAN, Nov. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army repelled on Friday Saudi-led coalition’s militants’ attack in Jizan province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The battle, which took place at Gais Mountain, left dozens of Saudi soldiers and militants dead and wounded.

The foiled attack lasted for several hours, the official added.

Meanwhile, the artillery shelled gatherings of the militants at the same site, causing direct casualties.
