FPA: Coalition forces prevent civilians from leaving Hodeidah
SANAA, Nov. 14 (YPA) – Coalition forces were indiscriminately bombing Hodeidah province despite the presence of civilians in the city of Hodeidah, France Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
A military official in the coalition forces said in statement, offensive operations in Hodeidah temporarily stopped to allow humanitarian organizations to evacuate their cadres, the transfer of some wounded and the opening of safe corridors for civilians to move out of the city, according to the agency.
According to the statement, Human rights observers considered said that the coalition forces did not allow in any way to open safe corridors of the population for displacement outside Hodeidah, resulting in the death and wounding dozens of civilians within a period of 12 days from the coalition escalation.
The observers noted that the Coalition Forces’ acknowledgment that they had received “orders to stop military operations to allow the people to leave Hodeidah” is another document added to the list of legal evidence that Coalition are committing its crimes against civilians with premeditation.
