Death toll from California fire rises to 42

SANAA, Nov. 13 (YPA) – The death toll from the most devastating fire in California rose to 42 people, the police chief in the state of California Sheriff Kory Honea said on Tuesday.

Earlier, 31 people were reportedly killed by fires in the northern and southern parts of California.

The blaze began early on Thursday, the sharpest among several wind-fuelled fires across California in a year, which is the worst in the history of the state.
