President, Parliament Speaker discuss national developments

SANAA, Nov. 11 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, no Sunday discussed with Speaker of the Parliament, Yahay al-Ra’i, the national developments in light of Saudi-led coalition’s escalation in Hodeidah province.

The meeting touched on positions of the international community and rights organizations and repeated calls for stopping the aggression and lifting the siege on Yemen, and how to deal with them.

They also dealt with aspects of coordination between the legislative and executive authorities to overcome the current challenges and alleviate the suffering of citizens.

The meeting also reviewed the parliament’s role in conveying the Yemeni people’s grievance to the world public opinion through communicating with other countries’ parliaments and international parliamentary unions.
