Yemeni people’s steadfastness behind calls for stopping war: Hezbollah’s leader

BEIRUT, Nov. 10 (YPA) – Secretary-General of Lebanese Hezbollah Party, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, said on Saturday that the Yemeni people’s steadfastness against Saudi-led coalition forces is the only reason behind recent calls for stopping the war on Yemen.

“Saudi Arabia and the UAE have failed to achieve any victory in Yemen”, said Nasrallah in a speech aired by Lebanese and Arab channels on the occasion of Martyr’s Day.

Nasrallah added that the recent US and western moves came to save “their tools in the region from the Yemeni quagmire.”

“The coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE is committing today the most heinous crimes in Yemen, while America and other Arab states adopting calls for peace,” he said.

In his speech, Nasrallah praised the strength and solidity of the Yemeni people, and demanded that they cling to their weapons and their positions.
