Meeting held in capital discusses aspects concerning tourist police performance

SANAA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – A meeting held in the ministry of Tourism, headed by Deputy Minister of Tourism Ahmad al-Aley, discussed several topics related to the role played by the tourist police during the current period.

THe meeting attended by General Manager of the Tourist Police Khaled al-Shamam reviewed the losses and damaged, which caused to the sector of tourism due the war waged by the Saudi-led coalition and its all –out blockade imposed on the country.

al-Aley affirmed the importance of the role played by the tourist police and the tourist sites.

He stressed on the importance of the coordination between the Tourism ministry and the leadership of the tourist Police to protect the historic sites and sites, especially those targeted earlier by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition.
