Hundreds of southern youths refuse to fight with Saudi Arabia

ADEN, Oct. 27 (YPA) – Hundreds of southern youths have returned from different areas outside their province that were on their way to Marib province to join the Saudi-led coalition forces, and then to be sent to Saudi Arabia’s Najran province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that “ the move came after a disagreement between the youths and mediators belonging to the Salafist jihadist in those areas because of the high cost demanded by the mediators, to be dragged into the battle to defend Saudi Arabia in the border provinces with Yemen. ”

“The majority of young people are from Abyan province, who are poor, as well as low-paying employees and soldiers and youths from Salafist jihadists,” one of the sources said.

The operation was preceded by other operations that succeeded in sending hundreds of youths to the Saudi border through Marib province and the combating fronts on the west coast of Hodeidah province.

Those fronts are witnessing a fierce fighting and the Sons of the Southern provinces return to their families wounded and killed.
