23 Somalis detained in Amran

AMRAN, Oct. 27 ( YPA ) – Houth district  police office  in Amran province on Friday  detained 23 people of Somali nationality

A security source in Amran told Yemen Press Agency that all of the detained persons entered the country illegally, adding that they were heading to Yemen’s border with Saudi Arabia, on board a medium transport bus, as part of a human smuggling operation.

The source confirmed that the Somalis wear arrested with two Yemeni nationals who are carrying out the smuggling.
