Belgium’s Deputy PM calls to stop selling arms to Saudi Arabia

SANAA, Oct. 23 (YPA) – Belgian Deputy Prime Minister, Alexander De Croo, on Tuesday stressed on the need to stop his country exporting  arms to Saudi Arabia following the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

De Croo said, during an interview with VRT radio station, that his country should follow Germany’s example in its move to stop its arms exports to Saudi Arabia.

He added “stopping the arm exports would also contribute to prevent dozens of people from losing their lives in Yemen every day.”
