Yemen denies any Saudi role in releasing French national

SANAA, Oct. 18 (YPA) – Yemeni foreign ministry denied any Saudi Arabia role on releasing the French citizen, in a statement said.

In the statement said that the releasing operation came under a mediation from Sultan of Oman, Qaboos bin Said al Said, who is appreciated and respected by the Yemeni people.

The statement affirmed that the Saudi-led coalition states have been exerting the disinformation towards the international community and committing  all kinds of violations and war crimes against the people of Yemen since 26 March 2015.

It called on the coalition countries to deal positively with the peace initiative led by UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths in Yemen under ending the war and lifting the out-all siege.
