Lavrov: Russia Supports Macron’s Intention To Improve Russia-France Relations
SANAA, Oct. 18 (YPA) – Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, said on Thursday that Russia supports the desire of French President Emmanuel Macaron to improve relations between the two countries.
Lavrov said in an interview with RT France, Paris Match and Figaro that the desire expressed by the current French leadership to improve relations deserves support in cooperation with Russia, adding see how President Macaron and his team are interested in establishing dialogue with them, and French is fully open to cooperation.
At the same time, the Foreign Minister pointed out that there were situations where good intentions began to be implemented and then stopped.
The minister said that they hear a series of accusations from Paris, including those relating to our media which have been practically denied access to the Elysee Palace and other French government bodies.
