Yemeni army attacks coalition-backed militias in Tiaz

TAIZ, Oct. 18  (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Thursday carried out an offensive against the positions of coalition-backed militias in Yemen’s Taiz province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army forces attacked the militants’ sites at Eusifira front, killing and injuring dozens of them, the official added.

The attack coincided with artillery shelling targeted the militants’ sites at Jarah front, killing five militants and injuring many others, the official said.
