Amaliqa commander killed by army fire in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Oct. 17 (YPA) – A senior leader of the so-called Amaliqa (Giants) brigades,  backed by coalition forces, was killed on Wednesday by Yemeni army’s fire in Hodeidah province, a military source said.

The source confirmed that the field leader of Saudi-backed militants, Sheikh Abdulrahman Saleh the al-Yafei, was killed by army’s fire in western Coast Front, as well as dozens of the militiamen were killed and injuryed.

The source pointed out that there is a wide collapse in the ranks of the coalition forces and their militiamen.
