Yemeni army attacks coalition-backed militias in western coast

HODEIDAH, Oct. 14 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Sunday carried out a unique offensive against the positions of coalition-backed militias in Hays district in Yemen’s Red Sea Port City of Hodeidah, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of the militants were killed and others were injured in the attack which targeted their sites at the western coast front, the official added.

The Yemeni army stepped up its military offensive against Saudi-led coalition forces and their militias in a response to war crimes and massacres committed against the Yemeni citizens.
