Report: Yemen army conducts ground attacks on Saudi soldiers, militias over Saturday

 

SANAA, Feb. 24 (YPA) – The Yemeni army has conducted military operations including artillery, missiles and snipping attacks on Saudi soldiers and militias’ gatherings and sites over Saturday, according to reports combined by Yemen press Agency on Sunday.

  • In the border province of Jizan:

50 caliber” machine gun was destroyed in Khazan hill.

A Saudi soldier was sniped in Khazan hill.

Saudi soldiers’ gatherings were targeted in Malhamah and Faridhah by artillery shells.

Katyusha rockets were fired toward gatherings of Saudi troops and military vehicles in Matan site.

  • In Najran border province:

Two Saudi soldiers were shoot dead in Dhaiaa site and Muthallath Esha area.

  • In Taiz province:

Dozens of Saudi-backed militias were killed and wounded when the army fired a guided missile toward their gatherings in the western coast front.

Katyusha rockets were fired toward gatherings of the coalition forces in the western coast,  and ambulances were seen rushing to the targeted site.

14.5 caliber” machine gun was damaged by artillery shells in the same coast.

A military vehicle of militias was burned east of Khalid camp by artillery shells.

  • In Jawf province:

Katyusha rockets were fired toward gatherings of Saudi soldiers and military vehicles in Matan site.

  • In Hajjah province:

Artillery force of the army shelled Saudi-backed militias and their military vehicle north of Medi desert.

  • In Amran province:

Yemen army arrested 14 of Saudi-backed militias.
