Health Ministry condemns coalition crimes against Tuhayta residents

SANAA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – Ministry of Public Health and Population in Sanaa on Thursday condemned the Saudi-led coalition warplanes’ continued and violent bombing on citizens’ homes and farms in Tuhayta district of Hodeidah province.

“Dozens of civilians have been killed and injured by airstrikes that target them brutally and continuously,” the ministry said in a statement, which Yemen Press Agency obtained a copy of it.

The coalition fighter jets prevent ambulances from entering the area to rescue the wounded civilians, the statement added.

In its statement, the ministry called on UN and international organizations, topped by the International Committee of the Red Cross, to take responsibility for moving the wounded to hospitals of other surrounding districts or to the city of Hodeidah, and to denounce the coalition crimes.

The statement also called on all Yemenis to unite in order to confront “this bloody barbaric aggression led by Saudi and Emirati regimes and US White House.”

The ministry held the United Nations and the Security Council responsible for what is happening in Yemen from human rights violations and genocide and war crimes.
