Massive protest rally in Hadramout demands to overthrow resigned Hadi’s authority
HADRAMOUT, Oct. 8 (YPA) – A massive protest rally held in Seiyun city in Hadramout province demanded to overthrow the Saudi-backed Hadi’s authority, a Yemen Press Agency correspondent said.
The rally blamed the Hadi’s authorities the responsibility the devaluation of the local currency, which is led to the deterioration of economic situations and lack of basic services in the districts of the province.
According to the correspondent, the military forces belonging to the leadership of the 1st military zone led by Saudi-backed brigadier in Islamic Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar that heavily opened fire towards the protesters.
The southern provinces have been witnessing large-scale protests against Hadi’s government and Saudi-Emirates coalition since September.
