Yemeni army launches 2 attacks on coalition militias’ sites in Taiz
TAIZ, Oct. 7 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces on Sunday launched two offensives against positions of Saudi-backed militias in Taiz province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The two attacks targeted sites of the militias backed by Saudi-led coalition in Himyar front of Maqbana district, and resulted in heavy losses in ranks and gear of the militias, the official said.
The coalition militias are trying from time to time to infiltrate into areas controlled by the Yemeni army, west of Taiz, without achieving any progress on the ground.
