Yemeni army foils infiltration attempts of Saudi-backed militants in Asir

ASIR, Oct.1 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Monday foiled infiltration attempts of Saudi-backed militants off Alib crossing border in the Saudi southern border province of Asir, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of militants were killed and injured during their attempt to make progress towards Almasaniea area, the official confirmed.

Meanwhile, the artillery forces shelled gatherings of the militants in the same site, leaving huge casualties in the lives and equipment.
