Report: Army conduct attacks against Saudi troops Over Wednesday
SANAA, Feb. 22 (YPA) – Yemen army has launched military operations, including artillery, missiles and snipping attacks against US-backed Saudi-led coalition soldiers and militias over the past 24 hours, military officials to Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.
- In Jizan border province:
Three Saudi soldiers were sniped in Kars-Jubah site, another one shot dead in Khazan hill of Qewa village and a Saudi soldier was sniped in northern Hamidha village.
Katyusha rockets were accurately fired toward Saudi soldiers’ gatherings in Maten camp and Mawsem gate, killing and wounding dozens.
Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of Saudi soldiers and vehicles in Jarah valley, Sawdah and Faridha sites.
A Saudi military vehicle, carried a weapon, was burned in Kars-Jubah by artillery shells, killing and wounding all its crew.
- In Marib province:
Five of Saudi-backed militias were shot dead in several areas of Serwah front.
Katyusha rockets were fired toward gatherings of militias and their vehicles in Mas camp and beyond Salb mountain, causing direct causalities.
A military vehicle, loaded with militias, was destroyed by an explosive device in Najed front of Surwah district.
- In Bayda province:
Gatherings of militias were targeted by artillery shells in Zahir and Yafaan areas of Thi-Naem district.
- In Taiz province:
Fortifications of militias were bombed by explosive devices in several sites of Salh district.
A militias’ military vehicle was smashed by a guided missile in western coast front, killing all its crew.
Artillery shelling targeted militias’ gatherings in Selw district, killing and wounding dozens.
An infiltration of militias toward Tashrifat was foiled, capturing one of the militias, killing and wounding dozens.
- In Nehm district:
Yemen army artillery targeted Saudi-backed militias’ gatherings in Salb mountain and in front of Buhra mountain of Harib-Nehm.
