2 Al-Qaeda militants arrested In Yemen’s Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Feb. 22 (YPA) – Two militants of Al-Qaeda were arrested on Thursday after clashes with security forces in Hajar district of Yemen’s eastern province of Hadramout, according to Yemen Press Agency’s reporter.

The security forces along with what so-called Hadrami elite forces raided a number of Al-Qaeda militants in an old police building in the district, west of Mukala city, arresting two of them and others fled.

The reporter explained that the remote area of Hajar is a haven for many of Al-Qaeda militants, in which they receive military training.
