President, Information Minister discuss media performance

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, on Saturday discussed with Information Minister, Abdulsalam Jaber, the level of performance in the official media institutions and their plans for the coming period.

In the meeting, the president praised the national media role in facing the media war waged by the Saudi-led coalition, despite their simple potential compared to the huge media means owned by the coalition countries.

The president emphasized the importance of the continuation of the media in uncovering the crimes of the coalition and its schemes.

The meeting touched on the role of the official media in briefing the world public opinion on the suffering of Yemeni people due to the war and siege, as well as keeping up with the victories achieved by the Yemeni army in the different fronts.

The difficulties facing the media institutions in financial, technical and technical aspects and ways to address them were also reviewed in the meeting.
