Yemeni army attacks coalition militia sites off Jizan

JIZAN, Sept. 27 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Thursday carried out an offensive against positions of Saudi-backed militia off Jizan region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The attack, which targeted the Saudi-led coalition militia sites in al-Tibab al-Sood in al-Mazarq area, resulted in several dead and wounded in ranks of the militia, the official said.

Meanwhile, a military vehicle of the coalition militia was destroyed in south Jabal al-Nar area in Jizan.
This came hours after the army’s missile force fired a Zilzal-1 missile towards the militia gathering in east of Jabal al-Nar area.

In Najran region, the army’s artillery force destroyed a bulldozer of Saudi army in west of al-Sudais site.

On Wednesday, the Yemeni army forces repelled an infiltration bid by the coalition militia towards Adiaq valley off al-Boqa desert.
