Over 200 people died in floods in Nigeria

SANAA, Sept. 27 (YPA) – Over 200 people died in heavy rains that leading to overflow the two major rivers in Nigeria, local media reported on Thursday.

The heavy rains caused overflowing two banks of the Niger, Benue River.

The flood displaced thousands of people and destroyed vast swathes of farmlands in central and southern Nigeria.
