Yemeni army shells Saudi-backed militants in Asir

ASIR, Sept.25 (YPA) – The artillery force of the Yemeni army and popular committees on Tuesday shelled gatherings of Saudi-backed militants in the Saudi southern border province of Asir, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

A Saudi 23-caliber machine gun was damaged in the shelling which targeted the militants’ sites off Alib crossing, the official added.
