Yemeni Judges elected as Deputy Secretary General, head of Advisory Board of Judges Arab Union

SANAA, Sep. 24 (YPA) – The Founding Conference of the Arab Union of Judges, held in Tunis, elected Yemen Judges to the positions of Deputy Secretary General and Head of the Union’s Advisory Board.

Member of the General Assembly of Judges Club of Yemen, Judge Rouda Al-Ariqi, was elected as Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab Union of Judges and Acting Judge of Yemen, Judge Gamal Al Fahidi, as head of the Advisory Board of the Union.

The founding conference’ s statute was ratified during the Union conference, which held on Saturday, with the participation of representatives of clubs and forums of Arab judges.

The establishment of the Arab Union of Judges came on the initiative of Libya, Yemen, Tunisia, as a recommendation for the workshop held in mid April 2018.

The conference was elected the Palestinian Ahmed Al-Ashqar as president of the Union and Morocco’s Abdullatif Al-Shantouf, the first deputy head of the Union and Tunisian Ibrahim Boussallah, second deputy.
