Supreme Political Council sends condolences to Iran over Ahvaz attack

SANAA, Sept. 23 (YPA) – President and members of the Supreme Political Council on Sunday sent a condolence cable to Iran’s President, Hassan Rouhani, for victims of the terror attack on a military parade in Ahvza city on Saturday, killing at least 25.

In the cable, the council’s president and members said that this terrorist act targeted the stability of Iran and its independent position from the US-Zionist domination.

“This crime is an extension of the US-Zionist aggression on Syria, Iraq, and Yemen through its tools in the region,” said the cable.

The cable confirmed Yemen’s solidarity with Iran’s government and people, calling on the Iranian people and all peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations to unit efforts to confront terrorism.
