SANAA, Sep. 18 (YPA) – At least 23 Ethiopians have been killed in the past two days in violence sparked by youths from the Oromo minority against other national minorities on the outskirts of Addis Ababa, Reuters a agency reported.
A local police source said that teenagers from the Oromo minority looted shops and killed residents, and police arrested more than 70 people, but they refused to admit their involvement.
The Clashes between the two sides broke out following a rally on Saturday to mark the return of the leader of the exiled OLF after he led a rebellion for the right to self-determination of the nation’s largest ethnic minority Oromo.
