2 commanders loyal to coalition wounded in Jawf
JAWF, Sept. 17 (YPA) – Two military commanders loyal to the Saudi-led coalition were injured last Saturday in an attack of the Yemeni army on al-Yatama area in Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
“Ali Jaber al-Handos and Nawaf Yahya al-Handos, were among the injured, after the destruction of the two vehicles they were aboard due to an attack by Qasef-1 drone of the Yemeni army in the al-Yatama area,” said the official.
They were transferred to Saudi Arabia for treatment, he added.
On Saturday, the army’s Qasef-1 drone waged an airstrike on gatherings of the coalition militia in Jawf, which resulted in several dead and wounded in ranks of the militia.
