Protest against Hadi’s gov’t corruption paralyzes Sayoun city

HADRAMOUT, Sept. 17 (YPA) – The city of Sayoun in Yemen’s eastern province of Harmaount witnessed on Monday angry protests against the deteriorating economic situation as a result of the corruption of Hadi’s government.

The protesters cut off the main streets by burning tires, demanding the provision of oil derivatives, according to Yemen Press Agency’s reporter.

Armed forces loyal to the military commander in Islah Party, Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar , surrounded the demonstrators with armored vehicles and military patrols, the reporter added.
