Report: 14 civilians killed in Saudi-led air, ground attacks over 24 hours

SANAA, Sep. 15 (YPA) – At least 14 civilians were killed, four injured and another missed, as well as World Food Program’s store was damaged when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched air and ground attacks on several provinces of Yemen during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Saturday.

  • In Hodeidah province:

11 civilians were killed and a woman was injured in airstrikes on Kilo-16 area of Hali district.

A civilian was killed in two airstrikes hit a home in Bir-Maqa’mos village of Zahra district.

Two fishermen were killed, another injured and one missed when Coalition force targeted fishermen’s boat in Sawabe’a island.

Four airstrikes targeted a civilian’s home in Zahra district.

Saudi-backed militiamen targeted a World Food Program (WFP) store near the sea-silo silos in Kilo-16 area by artillery shells.

  • In Saada province:

A woman and two children were injured in missile and artillery shells at residential villages of Razih district.

Missile and artillery shells were fired at residential villages of Monabeh and Baqem border districts.

Meanwhile, three airstrikes hit Aal-Sara and Masahem areas of Baqem district.

  • In Sanaa province:

Two airstrikes hit Mahli area of Nehm district.
