Salvation Gov’t condemns coalition’s massacres in Hodeidah

SANAA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – The National Salvation Government on Thursday condemned the massacres committed by Saudi-led coalition forces in Hodeidah province, which left over 35 dead and wounded.

“We strongly condemn the coalition’s hysterical escalation in committing genocide crimes against the people in Hodeidah,” the government’s spokesman, Abdulsalam Jaber, said in a statement.

He added that the coalition carries only a project of terrorism, killing and destruction, and that “it wants to turn Hodeidah into a model similar to the occupied provinces.”

“The international community does not act in the name of peace only when the coalition and its militias desperately need this move to cover up the genocide crimes,” said the spokesman.

On Wednesday night, the coalition force waged an intensive air attack on the Kilo 16 area in Hodeidah, targeting Sanaa Taxi station, citizens’ homes, and passenger cars, which resulted in the killing of 15 citizens and wounding 20 others.
