Report: Army attacks coalition militiamen in combat fronts over 24 hours
SANAA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – The Yemeni army waged attacks on sites and groups of Saudi-led coalition militiamen in several combat front over the past 24 hours, causing heavy casualties, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.
In Border province of Najran, dozens of the militiamen were killed and injured when the army foiled their infiltrating attempt towards al-Sawh area.
In Jizan province, the army repelled an infiltration attempt of the militiamen in al-Ajashar desert, killing, wounding many and destroying a military vehicle.
In western coast front, tens of the militiamen were killed, injured and a military vehicle was bombed when the army attacked sites in Hais and al-Tuhaitah areas.
In the same front, many of the militiamen were killed and wounded in a blast in al-Durehmie area.
In Jawf province, the army fired artillery towards gatherings of the militiamen in Khab Washaf and al-Ghail districts, killing, wounding tens and destroying a military vehicle.
In Lahj province, the army launched an effective against site of the militiamen in Karash district, the official added.
