SANAA, Sept.11 (YPA) – CBS Corporation said on Sunday that its chief executive officer Leslie Moonves resigned from the company amid new accusations of assault and sexual harassment.
According to the corporation’s announcement, Joseph Ianniello, the chief operating officer of CBS, temporarily was named the interim chief executive
This settlement ends years of uncertainty about the future of the network and can open the door to future transactions, CBS added.
The New Yorker magazine said in its report that six women accused Leslie Moonves of sexual misconduct.
Moonves, will not receive any severance payment, until the completion of an independent investigation into the allegations, Reuters reported.
