UAE receives new insult in Yemen’s southern provinces

SANAA, Sept. 9 (YPA) – The UAE occupation has received its biggest insult in the southern provinces of Yemen since it imposed its control over those provinces in mid-2015.

Southern activists have published on their pages in the social communication networks photos showing citizens from the southern provinces trampling on the UAE flag with their feet in the cities of Mukalla and Aden.

The activists traded also photos showing phrases written on public street murals, such as “Down with the Emirati and Saudi occupation.”

This came after popular protests recently witnessed by the southern provinces that demanded the expulsion and departure of the Emirati and Saudi occupation forces against the backdrop of the current economic crisis plaguing the country.
