Army repels militiamen’s infiltration in Jawf

JAWF, Sep. 7 (YPA) – Yemen army on Friday repelled a large-scale infiltration of Saudi-backed militiamen in Khub-washaaf district of Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The infiltration, which backed with air cover, was foiled in Salabh valley of Utimah area.
Dozens of militiamen were killed and wounded during repelling the infiltration as well as two military vehicles were destroyed.
In addition, the army shot the fire toward coalition’ Apache helicopters, forcing it to leave the field.
Furthermore, the army carried out an offensive against sites of militiamen in Bait-Santil of Maslup district, causing heavy losses in lives and equipment.

The army also destroyed four military vehicles of militiamen in several areas of Khub-washaaf district.
